Because this car, like most 41 year old cars, is a work in progress, the real car might vary from the pictures. These were taken 31/03/2015.
The Good
- This motor and gearbox were installed about 2 years ago. The whole thing was blue slipped and the motor is on the rego.
- There is a good sized intercooler and a new aluminium radiator with electric fan.
- There is a surge tank protected by a heat shield and the battery is in the back of the car.
- A new clutch was installed a few weeks ago along with front diff mount and moustache bar bushes.
- Most suspension bushes have been replaced and we have a bag full of new ones with the car.
- The springs and struts were new 3 years ago.
- Rust in the floor has been cut out and metal panels welded in place.
- New carpet in the cabin
- New Pirelli tyres
The Bad
- The paint job is crap. It's crazing all over the roof.
- The tailshaft has a rumble. This is new and I will have it looked at. Maybe a universal joint.
- Tacho doesn't work
- The passenger door rattles
- No air conditioning
The Ugly
